Outsiders Only: A SKYTEAR Podcast

The Outsiders Only are back for another episode and the biggest news isn't Untamed's release, it's Sinkhole's Un-release! RG is certainly happy as it means Red-Yellow can finally reign supreme. After being at the top of the meta for way too long, the executive decision to swing the ban hammer at Sinkhole was made. The crew brings Giacomo on to talk about both topics, and enjoy a discussion on some BTS info that only a dev can provide. Join us for insights, celebrations, and Ryan asking questions that have already been asked at least twice before!

RG, Zaraghul and Kirito run down the last two cards for the Untamed Expansion as we inch closer to completing the color wheel. RG and Zaraghul have a touching moment waving to each other while Kirito, predictably, talks about not-Skytear. Join us for the final spoilers and a preview of the release party episode coming soon!

Unfortunately we only noticed after recording this episode, that at least Zaraghul had some issues with his voice recording. we couldn't find a way to fix it so it is what it is. We still hope you enjoyed this episode.

RG & Zaraghul are back with 2 new cards for the game. RG discusses the impact of bringing tanks and flying monstrosities into the skytear game and how much better the game would be with long range firepower, and Zaraghul comments the necessity of inclusion of dragons into the armies. Make it Neris! We also review two more cards from the upcoming expansion, Sight Beyond Sight and Akhuti's Oath. Both agree on the usefulness of each card, but a sample size of two is never enough. Tune in and share your thoughts on the new cards!

The Dynamic Duo(?)  RG & Zaraghul return with yet another episode filled with spoilers and Skytear updates. Zaraghul gives a brief recap of his experiences with board gaming in Berlin while RG enviously listens, imagining what such things are like. The team then spoils two new cards. Zaraghul launches into to a great discussion of his impressions and comparisons to an old card, only to realize way too late he was comparing it to the wrong spoiler card. We will announce the Zaraghul retirement party invitations when the dates are finalized.

Rafa joins the crew to reflect on the 2021 season down in Brazil! Hear his recap of the major IRL advancements that Brazil has been seeing in the Skytear world, as well as a discussion of....game achievements? 🧐 . RG's enthusiasm is mixed when he learns there isn't a pin for playing 500 games with Yami. The episode concludes with a discussion (?) of the results of the Brazil vs. USA tournament showdown.

No guests today, but Zaraghul & RG felt the need to get some content out, so they painstakingly worked to accommodate Kirito's schedule. Join the crew as they fling middle-school comebacks back and forth amidst occasional discussion of clashes for 2022 (bonus with a brief window into the Degenerate's forming plans for Battle Royale mode!). It's not short, nor sweet, nor straight to the point, but it's content this community needs and deserves!
