What made Jesus so upset to the point that he felt compelled to angrily clear out the temple? It is because the nature of the relationship between God and His people is broken and needs to be set right. And it can only be accomplished through Jesus Himself filling the role of prophet, priest, king, and sacrifice.

When Jesus becomes king of your life, you will begin to develop His heart for the lost and broken world around us. Will you make Him your king and let Him begin the work of transforming your life from self-centered living to being part of a community on mission?

What is our response to the riches of the gospel? Is it simply for our own benefit? The more we look at Jesus, the more we see that He is calling us, and transforming us, from being people who are consumers - of the goods and services of our church, our friends, our community, to being people who are consumed - by Him.

Our view of who Jesus is shapes the way we live our lives. But many of us have an incorrect or incomplete view of what Jesus is like. In the familiar story of Zacchaeus, we see that Jesus invites us to see who He really is and what He's really about. Will you respond to His invitation and seek the real Jesus for yourself?
