What is our response to the riches of the gospel? Is it simply for our own benefit? The more we look at Jesus, the more we see that He is calling us, and transforming us, from being people who are consumers - of the goods and services of our church, our friends, our community, to being people who are consumed - by Him.

Our view of who Jesus is shapes the way we live our lives. But many of us have an incorrect or incomplete view of what Jesus is like. In the familiar story of Zacchaeus, we see that Jesus invites us to see who He really is and what He's really about. Will you respond to His invitation and seek the real Jesus for yourself?

The disciples were blind to who Jesus really was. The crowd was blind to what was actually happening in their midst. Yet the man who was physically blind, in acknowledging his need and Jesus' lordship, proved to see more clearly than any of them. What can we learn from this healing miracle?
