2018 has been a year unlike any other. Events which would have brought down previous governments, or presidents, have seemingly made little impact. With Brexit and Trump looming large, is there any room for other news in our tightly packed papers and bulletins? In this holiday special we sat down with 3 journalists, each with their own perspectives on the world we report on, and asked them what THEY made of 2018. What were the defining stories of the year, and what did we miss? There's soul-searching too about the world we live in, and how we as journalists are able to respond to events as they unfold around us, and what the future holds. join us for this jam-packed holiday special as we uncork a fine read, stock up on tea and mince pies, and try and put the world to rights round the kitchen table.
