Rick Byrd was elected to the OVC Hall of Fame in 2020. He served as a collegiate head coach for 38 years, including the last 33 at Belmont (1986-2019). In that time he won 805 career games, the 12th-most in NCAA Division I history.

Former Eastern Illinois Director of Track & Field Tom Akers was elected to the OVC Hall of Fame in 2020. In 23 years at EIU, Akers helped the program win a combined 45 indoor and outdoor men’s and women’s championships.
