Over 35 and Up

Who are we worshipping? What is worship? Together, let's explore scriptures designed to keep us in good standing with the Lord .

Cruel encounters and scary comments fuel unnecessary anxiety. We should do as the Lord says and pray without ceasing and pray about all things. We humans should care about one another’s outcomes.

We make it make sense, at home. I get much of my information from television. I may start going out and about but it’s doubtful. Humorous banter is my specialty.

We discuss USPS package acceptance changes, the current government kerfuffle, the importance of clarity and transparency within business transactions and something else!🫵😁💐🎙️

We chat as if Gemini was a human. It was fun. With training I could use an agreeable co-host.

The National Dogfight that is now our Presidential Election, is winding down. Vote your conscious. Stay safe. By the way, here is the rest of the “garbage heap” poem:

The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus,

Engraved on a plaque inside the Statue of Liberty:

“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she

With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Gratitude: Your Most Powerful Spiritual Weapon”

As Joyce Meyer often says, ‘Where the mind goes, the man follows.’ Our emotions are deeply connected to our thoughts. If we’re constantly thinking hopeful, God-inspired thoughts then we will reflect the Holy Spirit.

Ramblings on the very civil VP debate and a refusal to refund a woman's $$$$ for a TikTok vacation rental nightmare.
