I was taught in mainstream churches that Peter’s vision in chapter 10 of the book of Acts is a primary reason why all of the dietary laws of the Old Testament are “done away with.” But is food really what this vision is talking about? For whatever reason, this was one of the very first places in the Bible that I thoroughly questioned after I left establishment Western religions in 2016. Today, I will break down the major epiphany that I had about Peter’s vision while also allowing the Bible to explain the Bible.
