We are accountable for what we have. Because we have been blessed with talents, wealth, knowledge, time, and the like, it is expected that we benefit others. Our heart desire is to advance others beyond any life encounter.

Maureen Ross Gemme chronicles her early life of not knowing how and if she fit in with others. That led to a life of drug and alcohol addiction. Through relationships with her mother, friends, and God, she determined her identity and surrendered her life from the past. Juli Geske-Peer experienced an early life of profound family dysfunction that she carried several years into her adult life. However, she chose to be a chain breaker through self-awareness and therapy. Through several years of counseling, she now has a very healthy self-awareness. While she can deal with her past, she knows various events can trigger negative thoughts. She has learned how to deal with ideas that she documents in her book, “5 Senses for Success: Strategies to Thrive in Any Arena.”

Peter George overcame a lisp and stutter early in life through his sports prowess and Dad’s encouragement. He developed courage through his Dad’s relationship then while adding his wife’s encouragement through their connected relationships. While we may not aspire to public speaking, Peter encourages us to think about others in whatever we are doing. When we focus on others, we can overcome inhibitions about our effectiveness to achieve any endeavor we pursue.

David Richman is an ironman triathlete who speaks with and through his heart. He has a passion for reaching those who are battling cancer. David has more endurance than most people can even think about. His book, “Cycle of Lives” chronicles his passion to reach people in person to “hear” their heart. He wanted to speak with each person diagnosed with cancer in person and profile them in his book. In doing so, he learned about each of them while giving each of the 15 hope for the future.
