Today we are going to be talking about becoming the man and woman of God that will receive the promise of God.  In the preface of Michelle Obamas book, Becoming, she says "Now I think it's one of the most useless questions an adult can ask a child---What do you want to be when you grow up?  She says, "as if growing up is finite. As if at some point you become something and that's the end." We must become the men and women, the mother and father that God has given the promise too, in order to receive that promise.

Today we are going to be talking about Learning to hear God in the still small voice. 

God is still talking and sometimes we are looking for him the same way he used to talk to us but he wants to come in a different way in this season. We must learn to hear him in the middle of the trouble even if it feels like he is whispering in the noise of the chaos.

Today we are going to be talking about defining and recognizing childhood trauma.  The father wants us to see how he sees us as his children at times and is calling us in from the playground of life. Its time for the church to grow up. Properly defining and recognizing childhood trauma will help you resolve the issues in your life as an adult that you maybe struggling with today.  

Today we are going to be talking about Identifying childhood trauma.  The Lord took me on a journey that began in 2000 to begin to heal the little girl inside of me.  I had to understand why I was struggling so much emotionally as an adult and part of the answer was found in my childhood wounds. God wants to heal your wounds from your childhood, but you must first properly identify the source of that pain.

Today we are going to be talking about Negatives. Negatives are only developed in the dark.  I was suddenly, unexpectedly thrown in a dark room.  My marriage was in a dark place. Sometimes we suffer for opening doors because of our sins but sometimes we are battling because of the iniquity of previous generations. Come and learn how God used that dark place to develop his image in me by shining the light of his word in my life as he desires to do in you and your family.

Today we are going to be talking about Better things for us. As we celebrate Black history month and remember the price that blacks suffered during slavery, I want to encourage my African American sisters and brothers.  God did not forget us just like he did not forget Abrahams descendants.  He revealed to him 400 hundred years ahead of time that they would be enslaved.  He made a promise to bring them out and still on today, God wants us to know that he has better things for us, and he is going to deliver us too. 

Today we are going to be answering the question, Is there not a cause?  I will be talking about facing the giant of racism just like King David faced Goliath. I share portions of a letter that Malcolm X left us that was one of the most memorable of his life, which begins to address the answer to that question.  God is calling us to be a part of the solution and not the problem.   

Today we are going to be talking Abortion is not the answer.  I share from my personal testimony of having an abortion at 17 years old and Gods healing process that led to my restoration.  I also share from a different perspective being faced with the same situation at 44 years old and how God gave me the courage to make the right choice despite the pressures of life I was facing as a single and older woman.  

Today, I am going to share a little about how I actually received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and what lead up to my personal relationship encounter with the Lord.  I also will be sharing the importance of the Holy Ghost and the error that my great father taught regarding the Holy spirit. 

Today we are going to be talking about Jesus Christ is Lord and how I came to accept and know Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  I discuss a little of my family history and share several excepts from books written by my Great grandfather, many called, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.  I will be exposing some foundational lies and deception that he taught on the birth and death of Jesus Christ. I also share several strategies on how to pray and seek God that Christ would be revealed to unbelievers.
