Ar: في مساء شتاء بارد، وقف برج خليفة شامخًا وسط دبي، محاطًا بأضواء عيد الميلاد المتلألئة في الأسفل.
En: On a cold winter evening, the Burj Khalifa stood tall in the middle of Dubai, surrounded by the twinkling Christmas lights below.

Ar: كانت سميرة تقف عند السطح، تنظر إلى المدينة من أعلى نقطة فيها.
En: Samira was standing on the observation deck, looking out at the city from its highest point.

Ar: كانت تشعر بالتوتر.
En: She felt anxious.

Ar: كانت تخشى المرتفعات، لكنها جاءت هنا لتغلب خوفها.
En: She was afraid of heights, but she had come here to conquer her fear.

Ar: بينما كانت تختلس النظر من الزجاج، كانت لينَا أختها تقف بجانبها، تبتسم وتحثّها على المغامرة.

En: She asked the bystanders to call an ambulance and started to soothe him.
