Don't over think or stress over results. Just focus on the process... Those things that you can pay attention to.
Lets consider the Circle of Influence and the circle of concern. The circle of Influence are those things you have direct control over - Yourself, your time, your thoughts, your decisions, process. However, your circle of control are those things that you don't have direct control over - People, government, weather, results.
One of the major causes of mental stress is when you focus more on the result than the process (action - what you can do). When you focus more on things you can't control, you become Entitled, you give excuses, you start blaming, complaining, judging, defending... All of these things attracts negative energy that causes you mental stress.
