In this episode of the Inspired to Be Authentic Podcast I speak with Amanda McFadyen about her journey through her own "I am not good enough" story caused by sexual abuse and shame. She openly shares how she has overcome this and is now living her most authentic life.
About Today’s Guest:
Amanda is a single mom of two grown amazing people. She has battled mental health issues, eating disorders, and a host of other self hate based issues due to childhood sexual abuse, and absorbing difficult energy in her life. She is in the field of social work and works with families in crisis to assist them in gaining skills to move towards a more authentic and true sense of self in their lives. Her next steps are to complete a Masters program to further assist individuals in their healing and provide her with the opportunity to further her own. Amanda plans to travel and learn more about the ways cultures come together and support each other in healing and growth. Hers is a journey of healing, growth and helping with no fixed destination.
