Airborne (1993) is about a California surfer dude who moves to Cincinnati and treats rollerblading like it’s an extreme sport ordained by destiny. He battles local skate rivals, wins hearts, and somehow turns Midwestern pavement into a spiritual halfpipe of self-discovery. It’s basically *The Karate Kid* on wheels, but with more windbreaker energy and less dignity.
