With this in mind, we have our good friend and film maker Ted Geoghegan with us to talk about the underseen HBO Films noir/Lovecraft mash-up, Cast a Deadly Spell. The film is on HBO Max for those who have yet to see it, but please join us and Ted as we discuss this missed classic along with some other great Fred Ward pictures. Ted is currently in post-production for his new film, Brooklyn 45, that will premiere exclusively on Shudder. So, keep an eye out.

When Mike and I started work on the Overdue Rentals podcast, we had a list of 10 films we wanted to kick off our show with. Lenny Abrahamson's 2014 film, Frank, was one of those 10. Now, here we are with the man himself discussing this highly underseen classic. After the success of his adaptation of Normal People for Hulu, Lenny is back with an adaptation of Sally Rooney's first book, Conversations with Friends which premieres on Hulu starting this Friday, May 15th. As much as it was a thrill to talk about the show with Lenny, we were beyond thrilled to have some time to chat up the man about Frank and revel in all its glory.
