Welcome to the second installment of the Holy Ghost series! In this message, "Who is the Holy Spirit?", we dive into the identity, nature, and role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Join us as we explore the Scriptures to understand:
1. He is God: From the very beginning, the Spirit of God was present, hovering over the waters (Genesis 1:1-2). The Holy Spirit is an integral part of the Trinity, fully God, and actively involved in creation and our lives.
2. He is the Holy Spirit: The term 'Holy' emphasizes His divine purity and separation from sin, while 'Spirit' signifies His presence and activity.
3. He is a Person, not an “it”: The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force but a personal being who guides, comforts, and empowers us (John 14:17).
When we are filled with the Spirit:
* We become God's dwelling place: The Holy Spirit resides permanently within us, transforming us into the temple of God (John 14:17-19, 1 Corinthians 6:19).
* We can experience total victory: Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are assured of victory in life because He who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us (Romans 8:11, 1 John 4:4).
* We can function like Jesus: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can continue the works of Jesus and even greater things (John 14:12, Acts 10:38).
Learn how Jesus, our prototype, operated in the power of the Spirit and how we, too, can live a Spirit-filled life, experiencing His guidance, comfort, and power.

In this message we embark on a journey into one of the most captivating stories from the Gospel of Luke. Join us as we unravel the transformative power of curiosity and its profound impact on our spiritual journey, drawing inspiration from the life of Zacchaeus.
In Luke 19, we meet Zacchaeus, a tax collector despised by society, yet he possessed a curiosity that led him to seek Jesus. Climbing a tree to catch a glimpse of the Messiah passing by, Zacchaeus' curiosity ignites a series of events that ultimately lead to his salvation and transformation.
Through this sermon, we reflect on the significance of Zacchaeus' curiosity and how it serves as a catalyst for encountering Jesus.

Matthew 18:1-5 (NIV) 1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Proverbs 4:20-27 (NIV) 20 My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. 24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
