(I almost made it through without using this tired old pun...)  In our third episode we discuss our final two movies.  We discuss the epic 90's-ness of the Faculty and the gory goodness in the Babysitter. Once that is taken care of, we rank the 6 frightening films to find which one we think is most worthy of the terrifyingly Overpriced Concessions!

Halloween week continues on Overpriced Concessions! Wednesday's episode is pitting up two unique films. We have Mandy, the 2018 film starring Nicolas Cage, paired with It Follows from 2014. How many monsters in these two films? Check them out then tune in!

For episode 1 we are pairing up 80's classic Monster Squad with the 2011 meta horror-comedy Cabin in the Woods.  Both movies JAM PACKED with monsters to kick this thing off in full gear!

We got a cult classic from 1986 here! John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China starring Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, and James Hong. Kurt Russell plays Jack Burton, rough around the edges trucker who wants to help his friend Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) rescue Wang's fiancé. Things quickly go haywire as the two come face to face with an ancient evil Chinese sorcerer, Lo Pan (James Hong). 

I swear... this is our last movie from the 70's for a while. But... THIS WEEK join us as we discuss Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 sci-fi drama; Stalker! Aleksandr Kaydanovskiy stars as the Stalker; a guide who leads people through an area known simply as "The Zone", a perilous area shrouded in mystery. The Stalker brings a professor, portrayed by Nikolay Grinko, and a writer, Anatoliy Solonitsyn, through "The Zone" to find the room that will grant them a wish.

Come join us as we discuss Lucky Number Slevin from 2006! This movie stars Josh Hartnett, Lucy Liu, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and (totally NOT Sir) Ben Kingsley!

it's 1975 for the 2nd week in a row at Overpriced Concessions because in this episode we discuss Stanley Kubrick's 1975 film, Barry Lyndon! Ryan O'Neal stars along side Marisa Berenson in this Oscar-winning classic based off William Thackeray's novel "The Memoirs of Barry Lyndon, Esq."

Join us this week as we discuss Miloš Forman's 1975 film, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! Jack Nicholson stars along side Louise Fletcher, Will Sampson, Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, and Brad Dourif. For Lloyd and Dourif, this was their film debut!
