In this episode, Mahogany and I work to fall back into our relaxed rhythm of just having good conversation. We share our thoughts on the importance of seeking support and some of the convenient ways that we are able to find it. We hope that there's quality information in here for you to use and share, not only with your loved ones but also with us. Leave us a voice message or send us an email, we'd love to hear from all of the over/psyched warriors out there, as we love to learn from you and pass on your thoughts and contributions with others. After all, supporting each other is what it's all about! ;-)
Another bonus episode of interviews with two of my most favorite people, Eric and Mahogany! I hope you enjoy listening and getting to know my kids a little better, as much as I enjoyed interviewing them. I'm still smiling!! :-)
Having some fun with the twinions, Khloe and Vincent, in an impromptu interview. Hope you enjoy our conversation, I sure did!
We have always been told to be future oriented and plan. However, in today's climate we can't really do that, can we? So we are trying to find ways to be present focused and put structure in our day. While we wait on COVID-19 to create a new "norm", we have to look at our current challenges and rebuild our lives around what's happening now. We can no longer just wait and blame the pandemic. For most this includes parenting with added roles of teacher; creating a home environment that is also work, school and play, and trying to keep boundaries between all involved. It isn't always easy but we have to take it one moment at a time. It's okay, to not be okay. Use your support system and whatever skills you have to maintain your self care. We would love to hear about how you have pushed through the challenges of the pandemic, school closings/reopening and other changes. Email us at [email protected] or send us a message on Anchor. We would love to hear from our warriors. Until next time, seek grounding and remain present focused.
After some much needed time away, we've been able to push through some grief and other challenges. We appreciate the support we've been given and will continue to get we all know, grief is a process. This weeks episode is just another conversation that's allowed us to talk through some of the challenges that we are still dealing with, and those we feel are essential to keep discussing during this pandemic. Remember that no one can tell you how or how long it'll take you to push through your personal challenges; we hope that you know that you are NOT alone. We plan to keep this up because we know sometimes just a conversation about real life issues with real people can go a long way. We hope that while we continue to heal and rebuild you are doing the same. We are all warriors fighting to be heard, seen and understood. Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], we'd love to hear from you. We've missed you, but we're back!
Another short episode on the personal challenges your hosts are experiencing at this time. We are sorry we haven't been here to talk with you as often as we were. We will be back! Please keep us in your thoughts as we continue to heal during difficult times. Grief can't be rushed. Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Help us by sharing how you get through grief, we would love to hear from our warriors.
A whatever-ship is that relationship that is causing you some type of anxiety and/or stress. Figuring out whether the is eustress or distress is paramount to understanding the level of closeness that relationship has. Join me solo this week as I share my personal struggle with relationships in my life. I hope you are able to recognize where you stand in the lives of the people you invest your time in. Mamma is missed but will be back as soon as she can to continue this episode or to resume wherever our conversations lead us.
It was such a pleasure to do this episode. It's a rare occasion to sit WITH Mahogany while we have our conversations, and this one was a blessing as we relaxed on the beach, watching the sun rise, and being mesmerized by the crashing waves. I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording. Share with us your "happy place" and also I would love to know if you attempted the short visualization exercise. Drop us some feedback at [email protected]. :-)
