Wrenn and Realmbreaker is the newest mono green planewalker entering Standard and Commander through March of the Machine, so let's take a look at the card itself and identify if it'll see any meaningful play in any of these formats. The story beat in the Magic: the Gathering March of the Machine that's depicted in this card is pretty excellent.

Archangel Elspeth is here to wreck Phyrexia's day with a new 4-drop planeswalker card that is bound to make a splash in Standard and other formats. Honestly, I'd say the card is just good. Which is good, because it's a powerful character who has somehow ascended to the status of a freaking angel! It better be good!

The Eldrazi will be descending on Innistrad again with Shadows Over Innistrad: Remastered coming to Magic: the Gathering Arena on March 21, 2023. Emrakul, the Promised End is the massive mythic of the set that has an opportunity to shake up gameplay in both Historic and Explorer after its released. I, for one, am looking forward to it.

The One Ring will be getting one of the most exclusive printings in all of Magic: the Gathering history by getting a serialized one-of-one copy included in a single Collector Booster Pack of Universes Beyond: The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. It will definitely be interesting to see how the tale of this card unfolds and how it will impact the market moving forward.

Gandalf the Grey is a pretty great character within Lord of the Rings and this is an interesting interpretation of his abilities on a Magic: the Gathering card. In fact, limiting Gandalf's abilities to a single card would be very difficult given how enigmatic his powers are throughout the lore. So, Wizards of the Coast decided to give Gandalf the Grey the Blue/Red color identity and I think it works.

The One Ring is the main story device throughout the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy so, naturally, when Wizards of the Coast set out to make a Lord of the Rings set, they better make the ring pretty good. And, honestly, I think they did. Cranial Plating and Neurok Stealthsuit are both part of a cycle from Fifth Dawn that has a lot of utility in Commander that I don't think is getting realized. These cards can equip/attach at instant speed for benefits your opponents won't see coming even though they should. Sparring Collar and Horned Helm have the benefit of manipulating combat in your favor while Healer's Headdress gives a stark example of why White has, until recently, been the butt of so many jokes on Twitter.
