We are joined by Matt Harrington who was on the call of the thrilling 2-1 Pine City Area win over the Hopkins/Park Royals in girls hockey action last night. We hear highlights from Harrington's on-point call last night as well as an interview with Matt and Pine City Area head coach Bill Aagaard. We also looked into the big games from girls high school hockey last evening.

Today's show celebrates the 30-year anniversary of the first girls high school hockey game every played. That occurred on November 19th, 1993 and featured South St. Paul and the Academy of Holy Angels who played at the Ricfhfield Ice Arena.

Both teams met to celebrate that historic day. We hear from South St. Paul Head Coach Dave Palmquist who has seen it all as well as AHA head coach Ryan LaMere. The Stars won 4-1 on Saturday and Taylor Lesnar had two assists. She shared her post game thoughts.

The boys take to the ice today and Roseau head coach Greg Lund rounded out our star-studded lineup on today's show.

It is the Girls's season preview show with hosts Pete Waggoner and Brandon Spratt. Ryan LaMere of the Academy of Holy Angels stops by and drops some quality knowledge bombs on the show.

The Girls Upper Midwest High School Elite League begins tonight from the National Sports Center in Blaine. Co-founders Winny Brodt-Brown and Chris Peterson discussed the beginning stages of the league they created with co-founder Eric Johnson. Along with the help of the legendary late John Russo, the trio created a league that provides a great hockey experience for Minnesota girls high school hockey players. The Overtime Podcast covered all aspects of the game, Brodt-Brown's history as a player and coach, the much anticipated 96-team NIT Tournament and more.

The Summer Celly League playoffs concluded with an exciting playoff weekend from Braemar Arena. Ace Hardware won three games in a row to capture the first Celly Cup with a 4-2 win over Tradition Mortgage in the final game. Highlights of that game, Liz Schepers, Sloane Matthews, and Hailey Hansen joined the program with some post game comments.
