Week 4 of High School football!

On this week’s Overtime with Lee Patterson, we recap Week 2 of the Arizona high school football season, break down the latest 2A and 3A rankings, and run through this week’s 1A–3A schedule.

We also take a closer look at the local matchups, including series history for Safford–Seton Catholic, Willcox–Morenci, Pima–Round Valley, Fort Thomas–Baboquivari and San Carlos–Globe.

Then we go in depth on our KATO Sports Game of the Week: No. 1 Benjamin Franklin at No. 7 Thatcher, before wrapping up with Lee’s 10 Things I’m Watching This Week — five local and five from around the state.

Overtime with Lee Patterson covers high school sports across Graham and Greenlee counties and around Arizona.

Lee breaks down the AIA's move to MaxPreps rankings and what the change could mean for Arizona high school football. Plus, we continue looking ahead to the 2026 season with previews of local high school football teams across the Gila Valley.

We also talk about a major addition to our coverage this season as KATO Sports adds live video to select high school football and basketball broadcasts on YouTube.
