    #### Inspecting My Peanut Farm - Peanuts Ready For Harvest😊

    ![1000881697.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/EonmXnoBxD4wBE6fMKipmouHyxPAS1zCYv5g3bsoDVXZYZ6cV9Et7jsyDqkFj7E4JZz.jpg)

So yesterday I finally had the time to go check on my groundnut farm. I've not been closed by and that made me to handle the responsibility of checking the farm to relatives at home.

    ![1000880017.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/1000880017.jpg)

One thing is rest assured, nobody else can handle your stuff better than you do and that, I saw the reflection on my small scale peanut farm. I've asked some labourers to help weed the farm while I was away but I can't relate to how the work was done in such away there's still a lot of grasses around.

    ![1000880011.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/1000880011.jpg)

It's quite a big farm and we're preparing for harvest already. This is the season of harvesting peanuts in our zone and I'm glad I'll be among the many farmers to make a harvest this year. There was little sign of pest, basically human-pest. It's one of the common issues we face around here, people badging into your farm to take from whatever you've planted that's not there's. Sometimes they intrude with their cattles and sheep's to destroy farmers efforts on the farm without remorse with their mischievous behaviors.

    ![1000880023.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/1000880023.jpg)

I removed few of the groundnuts to check the progress and if it's actually due for harvest.

    ![1000881559.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/23u5vRqbkZ4ELr1XER1hXvYiK2wFNpqYqU2GfwdYgVaa8oDn28ZcwvqtsNXsqSdmE7A6G.jpg)

From the look of the peanuts there are matured and ready for plug. I went further to break the shell so I could have a full detail of the result.

    ![1000880043.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/1000880043.jpg)

The peanuts looks good and I'm happy with the result.

    ![1000880045.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/1000880045.jpg)

Thanks to my friend @emreal for following me to the farm.

    ![1000881078.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ovey10/23tvY975bh1bQwH6z6r7WATGEWhcEeVm33Wk6tSRjXGxFeMSVAcfdge4Wo3xpdLBLjam9.jpg)

The rain caught up with us on our way back home but we had a great time checking

on the progress of the farm.

    ##### Hive Music Community - BANDANA (Cover) ENG/ESP

    ENG

Hello everyone, I want to wish you all a happy New week. Its a fresh start of another week and so together with my friend Bongo James, we prepared something to usher us into the new week.

Bongo is on the trumpet while myself on the euphonium. My love for the brass instruments is pure gold, it formed the grass root of my music journey and so I'll always go back to my foundation whenever I have the slightest opportunity to do so.

This song we covered as a distinctive and attractive bass line that sublimes very well with the amazing melody line. I'm not sure what the meaning of the song "Bandana" means but it's a song that shows self assurance that you can be what you want and you can do it right without having to seek for anyone's approval. You could get anything you want and still live your life in a low-key level. This act helps you to avoid what we call "see finish" a term used in Nigeria to describe people that belittle or look down on you.

I love the song for so many reasons, that afrobeat vibe is something else, I enjoy the song on loud speakers because that's when you'll hear the bass line very clean and clear..

Let me know what you think about our cover in the comment section thank you..

    #### Hive Music Festival Week 145 Round 1 - On God (Bass Cover) ESP/ENG

Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog, this is my entry for the Hive Music Festival week 145 round 1.

For this week's entry, I will be sharing a Bass cover of "ON GOD" by Shatta Wale a popular Ghanaian singer. I came to know about this song through a video on Facebook, how some people where standing for justice for someone that was arrested recently for reasons that weren't clear to the public. The person arrested is an activist and a freedom fighter. He speaks against the ills of the government and society, he stands against corruption and so, it's very clear that the government might want to short him up in every means possible hence the unethical arrest.

The way he was arrested was way different from how law enforcers usually arrest culprits in a civil manner. On this guys case, he was whisked and masked as if he was a notorious thief that had been declared wanted for ages.

God so kind he got released.

We might not have any body at the top to stand for us but God is alive. There are a lot of people that wants to short us up but our God will always turn up for us at appointed time. There are a lot of people out there that don't want to see us progress, they're hell-bent that to the pit we must fall but "ON GOD" we stand and will never surrender to failure.

I've listened to this song several times and the rhythm holds me tight together with the nature Shatta Wale voiced the song. Shatta the author of the song obviously is bold and courageous despite the challenges that befalls him. Well,

without further ado, I'll leave y'all to enjoy my piece and I hope you it makes sense to you.

Kudos to everyone working behind the scene to push good music forward on our beloved Blockchain.

Shout out to the big friends of the community @edwardstobia @yisusth @fmbs25 & @dimeilaz they're all doing an amazing job here..
    Thank you

    Gracias.

    #### AFRI-TUNES WEEK 176 - TOBECHUKWU (BASS COVER)

This is my entry for what is week 176 of the Afritunes weekly event. This week I will be sharing with us a Bass Cover of "TOBECHUKWU" by Pst. Nathaniel Bassey featuring Minister Mercy Chinwoh.

TOBECHUKWU is phrase from the Igbo dialect in the eastern part of Nigeria. TOBECHUKWU simply means "Praise God". This is a song of praise to God for all the things He has done for us, the ones we can see and the ones He has been working behind the scenes that we couldn't see. It is essential to always give thanks regardless of our predicaments because God has been faithful in one way or the other in our lives.

Just because we can't see the one He is doing doesn't mean He isn't doing anyone. I've learned to show appreciation even when things aren't working as I want to be, I complain I murmur but I still trust and appreciate Him for the little ones I can see while I pray and hope for the greater ones..

I love the settings of this song and the idea of the live recording with Mercy Chinwoh. I know a couple of persons that this songs holds a place dear to their heart, I've watched it on their statuses for a couple of times repeatedly and I can share in their joy when God is aligning even the impossible to work in your favour..

Not to bored you with allot of writings, let me know what you think about my elementary Bass technique in the comment section below...🙂 Thank you

    Song Lyrics

    Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu

Tobechukwu, He has done it for me
    Tobechukwu, Jehovah, Tobechukwu
Tobechukwu, He has done it for me
    Is that your testimony? Listen
    Even before I prayed
    Jehovah Nissi answered me
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me)
He has taken away my fears
And given me peace of mind, eh
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me)
See the way He answered me
    Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu
Tobechukwu, He has done it for me
See the way He lifted me
    (Tobechukwu), Oyekeruwa (Tobechukwu)
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me)
    Let the trumpet play
When I was worried and couldn't sleep
He was working behind the scene o
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me) ah, yeah-yeah-yeah
He has taken away the pain
And given me joy and victory
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me) ah, yeah
    Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me) ah, yeah-yeah-yeah
    Tobechukwu, Tobechukwu
(Tobechukwu, He has done it for me)

  • AFRI-TUNES WEEK 175 - DANSAKIRE (COVER)

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=ovey10/kmbvkqia
    #### AFRI-TUNES WEEK 175 - DANSAKIRE (COVER)

Welcome to my entry for Afritunes week 175. This week I bring us a bass cover of "DANSAKIRE" originally sang by Lara George a profound gospel musician of our time. DANSAKIRE is a popular Yoruba phrase which means "We praise You".

I have known the song for quite some time but recently stumped on the song after someone requested I help them do a little work on the song. I took that opportunity to start scoring the bass lines of the song during my bass practice and thought I could wrap it up for this week's entry. I'm glad I didn't stop in my bass practice and I hope to achieve my aim and target on the bass guitar before the year runs out.

Back to the song DANSAKIRE, I love the fact that Lara acknowledged the Supremacy of the Lord and how important it is that we give Him praise, He is the waymaker and our heavenly father. Allot might probably be going on in our minds specially in this era that everything seem to be working opposite but that doesn't change the fact that God has blessed us and His power is evident in one way or the other in our lives, this alone is enough to acknowledge His name.. The song is sang in both English and Yoruba dialect. I know most of you can relate to the song so, I hope you enjoy my presentation and vibe with me..

Let me know what you think about this piece in the comment section below... Thank you

    Song Lyrics

I'm acknowledging you for who you are

    For what you've done
    In my life
Oh i'm, i'm acknowledging you for who you are
    Dansaki re
    Dansaki re baba

I'm acknowledging you for who you are

    For what you've done
    In my life
Oh i'm, i'm acknowledging you for who you are
    Dansaki re
    Dansaki re baba
    Eh
In my life, you are the miracle worker
    You are king of kings
You are the way maker…oh yea
In my life, you are the prince of peace
    Dansaki re
    Dansaki re baba

I'm acknowledging you for who you are

    For what you've done
    In my life
Oh i'm, i'm acknowledging you for who you are

    #### Farm Check-in: Ensuring Quality Work

I recently made a post on My Weeding Adventure where I took measures to ensure my maize and groundnut farmland was kept clean from greases

weed. This was how it looked like before..

Crops are very beautiful but filled with grasses, so I had to employ workers to help me weed the farm because it'll be too much for me to do so. The work is quite good but with some flaws at the other side of the farm as shown in the video above. We've got some good outcomes though

This is part of the result of the work. I believe the plants around this region will have enough space to grow comfortably without any pressure from the weeds. The other side of the farm isn't encouraging because the workers didn't finish up their work properly. This is one of the problems you'd face with having people to do a job for you other than yourself. Well, I'm ready for it because I knew the only way I could practice Agriculture for now is by having people around to help me in the farm, I'll continue to push until when I'm fully available at home to go the farm whenever I want to..

    #### Hive Music Festival Week 143 Round 2 - Beautiful You Are (Cover) ESP/ENG

Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog and this is my entry for Hive Music Festival week 143 round 2.

It feels good for me to share my work of art and creativity with the community once again and for this week I bring us a Bass guitar cover of "How Beautiful You Are" by Ruby Amanfo. I got to know about this song through an elite I've been following on social media, where he shared his very touching story that resonates with me and left a mark in my mind I won't forget easily. This song happens to be on the background while he shared his message to people..

He is fun of helping people even when it will cost him allot, he spent all of his time and money fighting crime and helping people. One good day, he was brought in for questioning by law enforcement agencies, when they start checking his assets and belongings he has, that's when they realized that the guy doesn't have any tangible properties in his name. Throughout his endeavours he has been focusing on people and forgot about his own sleep.

The song "How beautiful you are" is charging you to check up on your self because you also matter. Allot of times we get carried away or overwhelmed with the situations around us and people's problem. We don't even have time to look after our ourselves. We pay so much attention to people's problems and keep losing ourselves. Even the Bible says Love your neighbours "AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF" so, loving yourself is very paramount before you can extend the love to the wider society..

Without further ado, I'll leave y'all to enjoy my piece, I hope you it makes sense to you, I'm still practising and learning the bass guitar because it's my passion, I hope to get better soonest and continue to share more bass guitar covers in the community. Thank you very much for coming around...

Kudos to everyone working hard behind the scene to push good music forward on our beloved Blockchain.

Shout out to our big friends of the community @edwardstobia @yisusth @fmbs25 & @dimeilaz for their continuous support and encouragement to push good music forward in the community..

    SONG LYRICS

Yeah, you don't know how beautiful you are

One look at you and I see stars
That shine up over my head
I hope you know these words that I've said are true
'Cause well, you don't know how beautiful you are
I want you to know how beautiful you are
You could never be last place
'Cause in my heart you've won the race, yeah
    Oh, how beautiful you are
So, in those times you're standing still
    I hope somehow that you
Just will take time to see what I see
There's nothing darling, you cannot be
It's true, I hope you do know how beautiful you are
I want you to know how beautiful you are
You could never be last place
    You're like a smile I can't erase, no
    Oh, how beautiful you are
    Oh, how beautiful you are
    Know how beautiful you are
You could never be last place
    You're like a smile I can't erase, no

    #### Tribute to Jota and Silva

Thursday morning 3rd July left the whole world in a great shock about Diogo's demise. The news went viral and so real about the terrible accident by the Liverpool player and his brother in his car.

    Diogo Jota
The accident left us in great shock because who would have expect? According to some reliable source, the vehicle caught fire and the casualties where killed by the motor accident. It feels so sad to experience such a terrible situation in life and my heart goes with the entire family specially Diogo's wife and lovely three kids..

    Diogo and wife
Diogo recently married his wife together with his kids but fate didn't spare him for his wife and children. This very unpleasant event reminds us of something, no man knows the hour, minute or seconds he or she will live the surface of the earth. Regardless of your fortunes and everything, you'll live everything and go. Life is indeed short, live your purpose and enjoy every short time you get to spend in the surface of the earth because we are not promised tomorrow.

I made a tribute song "See You Again" with my trumpet and embedded Diogos image in the video, I also included a short Ai video which showcases other legendaries of football that passed away and how Diogo embrace the call to join them..

May their souls and the souls of other faithful departed rest in peace with the Lord...

    #### AFRI-TUNES WEEK 173 - Eze Chukwu (COVER)

Welcome to my entry for Afritunes week 173, I had the privilege of meeting few friends during the week and we had the opportunity to make covers of some amazing songs we played back in the days when we were learning brass instruments.

My love for this song "Eze Chukwu" exude from the distinct melody lines attached to the song. Unlike most other songs, "Eze Chukwu" has a dynamic parting pattern that gives the song the unmatchable pleasant feeling it transmits to it's listeners.

In our case here, it was just the two of us which means we can only but play two parts of the song at a go together. I had wish we was at least four in number, we would have been able to dissect the song and share the partings amongst ourselves for better harmony. Notwithstanding, we did our best, my friend James played the melody line on the trumpet while I went for the bass line with the euphonium.

It's a pleasure making so many covers that hopefully I'll be sharing with us timely here.

By the way, this song as allot of translation and allot of versions from different regions and different dialects, feel free to sing along with us in whatever language you know the song...

Let me know what you think about this piece in the comment section below...

    #### Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 36 - Gemstone(Christian Rap) COVER

    Hola!

It's another beautiful week on Vibes Web3 Music Contest and here I bring to you my entry, a Christian Rapp cover. I'm pretty sure you're gonna like my cover..

I've actually felt what it means to be depressed sometime ago. It's certain some people have been there also and some still there, I hope this song ministers to a soul and rekindle their lost hope once more. I honestly don't wish for anyone to be victim of all these horrible life challenges but it's sad that the world is becoming more complicated and things unimaginable are happening around us.

Setting Our Sound System For Better Sound Output..

Recently another battle between some few countries erupted that on my own humble opinion, would have resulted to another world war but we thank God because He'll definitely restore peace back to our homes and lessen the rate of killings and wickedness in the world.

With me on this one is Lu'uri, a very good friend and a very humble musician, I'm glad to have her hop on the beat with me. Hopefully Lu'uri will fix her smart phone very soon and join us on this space..

I really hope that this song inspires and bless you tremendously, without further ado, I'll live you to check it out...

    Song Lyrics

Should I take it with a blade or use a knife?

Whatever I just pray I do it right?
I probably won't make it through the night
I tell them that it's better suicide

Drowning in depression as the tears pour

Asking yourself what am I here for
Questioning the dear lord Convinced there's nothing left to live for
Molested when you was a child
By the Chester with the creepy smile
Pressured you to do some things that's really foul
Your mom accepted it cause she was in denial
Convinced yourself abuse is love, which led to your abuse of drugs
I bet every time you in the tub
You imagining your body floating in the suds
    Contemplating suicide
Tried it once but you survived
Standing in the mirror, devil in your eyes!
Should I do it from the front, or shoot it from the side?
Blaming God for what's been done to you
Feel he gave you life to punish you!
Hurt by everyone you run into!
End up walking on you like some running shoes
Always thought you wasn't mommas best
That you were treated different from the rest
So in your mind you think you worth less, you ain't worth dirt!
    You deserve death!
    Imaging your soul tore
On the bathroom on that cold floor
With your back against that closed door
And you slash your wrist with slow force
Blood running down your wrist. Dripping from your finger tips
    Pills causing you to drift
    Slipping into the abyss
