Why do we come together on Sunday?

What is the price of grace? What can we do to NOT cheapen it's value?

When it comes to following Jesus, Are you an observer or a participant? What does it mean to go from being an observer to a participant?

How is your faith shown to others around you? to Christians? to non-Christians?

What is your tomb that is making you feel powerless?

He knows you inside out and loves you anyway. Why is it so hard for us to trust in Jesus?

Do you believe that Jesus has the power to reverse the irreversible?

Is Jesus calling you by name and are you listening? If you are listening, what can Jesus do with your life?

Passage: John 11:17-37

Questions for thought

When we are hurt or disappointed, it is human nature to think that no one could possibly understand how you are feeling or what you are going through. Why do we often push people away or not ask for help from the people we love?

Mary said to Jesus. "Lord if you had been here, my brother would not have died." Brokenness and hurt comes in many forms. Was there a time in your life you have had to deal with either or both? How did you handle the situation? Would you do it differently if you where given a do over?

When someone cries with you, know they feel your pain. Just as Jesus wept with Mary, he cared. Jesus is relatable. He wants a relationship with you. What is holding you back?

REMEMBER: We have a personal God. How personal depends on your relationship with him.

Passage: John 11:1-16

Questions for thought

Was there ever a time in your life that you really, really wanted something and you didn’t get it? (Think about it a little.) Did you ask God for help? Did you lay blame when your request did not happen?

Do you invite God into your story for his glory or for yourself? If it is for yourself, why do you or don’t you think it is ok?

In your humble opinion, why do you think Jesus waited 2 days (actually 4) to go to Lazarus when he was dying?

Are you overcome with the answers of no or not yet? You may need to Reorient your ways to the ways of how God may want things to happen.

REMEMBER: God is most glorified when we learn to trust him completely.

Isn't it amazing how God invites us into His plan. Can you think of a time this has happened to you?

Who are you when it comes to sharing Jesus?

How can we share our testimony without making about ourselves and make it more about Jesus?

What can you do to take the focus of yourself and direct it toward Jesus?

How can Less be More?

If we have been raised up in Christ and we are in Christ, how should our identity look to non-Christians? Why do we struggle with this?

Why is it hard to stay focused on Christ? How can you stay focused on Him?

What do you want to let go of, so that you can have more?

How do we live differently than the world, without living separately from the world?

How can surrendering your life to God make you free from the slavery of sin?
