Because of the cross, we can look forward to judgment without fear.

This chapter invites us to confront our anger and selfishness, and to rediscover the joy and freedom that comes when we surrender to God's plans instead of clinging to our own.

Jonah got a second chance—and so did the people of Nineveh. Even though Jonah ran from God, God still used him to deliver a powerful message. The Ninevites listened, changed their ways, and experienced God's mercy. It's a reminder that God isn't done with us—even when we've messed up.
