Owls Americast: Sheffield Wednesday opinion with an American accent

Jeffrey has fixed the audio on this version. Paddy is mostly here to plug the Different Gravy podcast.

Jeffrey would like to apologize to Shawy. Paddy is being satirical. Justin is going to play some hockey.

Jeffrey, a podcast professional, should really remember to check his audio settings before recording. Paddy is exploring the cocktail space. Justin has some thoughts about Canadian hockey.

Also as a programming note, this was recorded before learning exactly who in the Wednesday staff had tested positive for COVID-19.

Jeffrey has some addendums to last week's show. Justin just wants to watch some attacking football. Mike believes every season is marionberry season.

Also we preview the Derby County Match with Cory Hancock of the Rams Review Podcast.

In this Christmas Special, Paddy sits down with Dominic Stevenson, Wednesdayite and author of the new book "Get Your Head in the Game" in which he talks with footballers about mental health.

Paddy and Dominic talk about the the Wednesday players he interviews for the book; Atdhe Nuhiu, Sam Hutchinson and John Harkes as well as others, who share their stories of mental health and how being a professional footballer can impact that.

"Grumpiest old men" by Owls Americas

Jeffrey is improving the one part of the show he can actually control. Justin is serious about over-40 hockey. Evan(!) has some catching up to do.

Jeffrey has had too much wine to remember to do Dispatches from Bulgarian soccer, but not too much to tell his Martin Hodge story. Justin is in search for a good brown ale.

Jeffrey is suspending operations under Tony Pulis. Paddy has a proper Manhattan and likes a proper challenge. Mike doesn't remember the Stoke game.

We also preview another two-week fixture with the NYC Canaries and probably the second most famous Huddersfield fan in the states.

Jeffrey is trying to stay warm. Justin is not watching American football.
