In 2015 I was absolutely done playing by the narcissist's rules. I joked with my therapist about getting a hotel, and then decided to make it a reality!
In this episode, we go over how to make any holiday your own. It's not selfish for you to make the holiday about you when everyone else does by wanting you to keep them comfortable by denying your wants and needs.
When we choose to live authentically we invite haters. We're not the first to leave the family, and there's a reason people stop talking to each other. These old outsiders want to rewin their spot by bringing us back to the herd. Plus we are "breaking the rules" of codependency.
