Shoremates,

Action Items:

  1. Brainstorm who you can reach out to for help.  This could be anyone from friends, mentors, colleagues, linked in associates, or even podcast hosts.
  2. Actually reach out to them, and don’t be discouraged if only a few respond back.  When they offer something to you, don’t leave the call without asking how you can help them out.  If they say something within reason, make sure you do it.  It’s all about depositing in value more than you withdraw. With that said, don’t let that be the initial reason you don’t reach out to someone.  That’s the purpose behind asking how you can best help someone out.
  3. Take a 7 day no complaining challenge.  For the next 7 days instead of complaining, say something out loud that you’re grateful for.  This may be insanely hard at first, especially if you hang out with complainers, but if you do this you’ll find life to be much more enjoyable, and more successful people will enjoy hanging out with you.

Always, Always Remember,

You've got this!
