Action Items.
- We covered the 7 steps. Instead of hearing them all, and trying to do everything, decide to make an adjustment on just one of the items for a full month. After you’ve done that small adjustment, go to another one of the areas and make a small adjustment there for a month in addition to it. An idea for this could be, in January I’ll wake up 30 minutes earlier and spend a few minutes in gratitude before the day begins. In February I’ll do January’s action, and I’ll add to that finding one thing I can do each day to help someone else. For reference, the 7 areas are: Having a morning routine, taking care of your health: Sleep, meditation, nutrition, fitness, Using a journal, Regular reading and learning and regular introspection, Finding mentors, coaches, mastermind groups, Helping others, and having a bias for action. Progress is greater than perfection.
