  • How Successful Entrepreneurs use Pressure differently

Pressure is something every business owner experiences, but what if pressure isn't a problem?

In this episode of the Owning It podcast, I explore the difference between positive pressure and negative pressure, and why learning to handle both is one of the most important skills you'll ever develop as an entrepreneur.

I'll show you how pressure is created, why it often shows up around sales, revenue goals and visibility, and how it can either fuel your growth or completely shut you down.

    You'll learn

    • why nothing in your business is ever truly make-or-break (and how to have great thoughts that support that)
    • how to stop allowing pressure to dictate your decisions
    • how to build emotional resilience so you can create bigger results without burning out.
    • If you've ever felt overwhelmed by a revenue goal, nervous on a sales call or worried that one decision could derail your whole business, this episode will help you approach it in a completely different way.

If you're ready to build the mindset, sales skills and confidence to create more consistent revenue in your business, learn more about the Conscious Sales Collective here. https://www.mrgcoaching.co.uk/conscious-sales

    • Action-Based Marketing - think like a marketing expert

In this episode you'll learn how to show up to your marketing like a total expert.

      It's in how you're thinking.

You'll hear how to build more 'Know, Like and Trust' with your audience, and the most helpful thoughts that support you to do that.

You'll hear about the approach that totally shifts you from fear of visibility and confusion, to offering your services much more clearly, more simply and directly.

In this episode there are some core concepts

      - Visibility vs Credibility  (How you're thinking about yourself and your audience matters so much more than you think)

      - Consistency and what it really means

-The ratio of ready buyers and not-ready buyers and why that matters in your marketing message and the actions you take

You'll also find the most useful thoughts to support you as you go about promoting your business.

If you want more help with this, join us for a live, 3 day virtual event starting on June 9th - The Steady Revenue Shift.

    • 5 Steps to Building a Simple Business that Makes Money

In this episode I break down the exact steps to building and growing a simple business.

This isn't complicated. But having a simple business means managing your thoughts differently. Because when it's simple, there's nowhere to hide. You can't NOT take action (because you know what the action is). It feels far easier to stay confused.

Don't let your brain do this to you. It's simple to grow your business in a way that you actually enjoy when you master these 5 steps.

      In this episode you'll learn

      - How your approach is everything. Starting with the thought 'what if this was simple?' or 'what's the next simple step?' will change what you do. Deciding and committing to simplicity comes first.

      - How to think about what to sell - building an offer that you love to deliver, that creates the impact you want and helps the people you're here to help.

      - The importance of having a clear message that cuts through - and how to make yours better

      - Having a plan that's doable by far outweighs complication. You get to choose what feels easiest for you.

      - How to sell confidently. It doesn't come because you took a course - it comes through repeated exposure and having a simple process you can follow.

This episode is for the business owner who is tired of doing 1000 things at once and wants to make money in a way that's repeatable and means more time off to enjoy doing the stuff they love.

Join the free training starting on June 9th - The Steady Revenue Shift - to have a deep dive into these concepts and learn how to apply this into your own business. Join the training here.

    • Where does strategy matter - and where doesn't it?

In this episode of the Owning It podcast I explore one of the biggest misconceptions in business; that strategy alone creates results. I show you how what you’re thinking and how you take the action is really driving all your successes and failures.

There are so many examples of how this shows up - in the earlier stage of business you don’t really know what’s working and you’re trying lots of different things (and that’s all good for your learning) But as your business grows, you want to create more impact with fewer things - especially if it’s just you, or you and a small team.

Listen in to hear how you can move from inconsistent growth into a more repeatable way of building. You’ll see how time spent thinking about your clients and how to help them can translate into valuable invitations - ways that you can sign clients and deliver really great experiences for them.

This comes down to refining your message and spending more time immersed in the value of what you do. When you add to that a streamlined, simplified plan of actions to take it becomes ingrained - and part of just who you are being. It means you can focus on building skill instead of learning tactics.

If you’re ready to grow your business and create repeatable results, the doors are opening for The Conscious Sales Collective, a six-month skill-building programme designed for service-based business owners to create repeatable sales.

The doors are opening on June 9th - June 18th and the programme starts on July 6th. Head here to sign up for an enrolment call and get all the details.

    • Don't 'charge your worth'. Why separating yourself from your offer is a sales power move

Have you ever stopped yourself from sharing something? Or worried about putting up your prices? Or felt so rejected and disheartened if you don't hit a goal?

These are all symptoms of mixing up your self-worth with the value you offer as a business owner.

In this episode, I lay this out and show you what happens when you confuse the two.

This can keep business owners stuck, undercharging and overthinking, holding back from bigger visibility, and feeling pressure around success.

I share how separating your inherent worth from your business helps you to troubleshoot well, make more strategic decisions and sell more confidently.

This is a must-listen episode for any service provider or personal brand entrepreneur who has felt confused about 'charging your worth' or gets pressured and stressed by goal-setting or hearing 'no' on sales calls. Chances are you haven't consciously detached your thoughts and feelings about yourself from your business. When you do, you can create with so much more freedom, experimentation, safety, calm and purpose.

    • Scared of 'being sales-ey?' It's costing you

Being 'sales-ey'. Let's talk about it.

      Actions aren't 'sales-ey'. Sending a DM isn't 'sales-ey'. Sending a voicenote - also not 'sales-ey'. Can they be? Definitely.

But it's not the action that defines the feeling. It's how you do it.

In this episode of Owning It, I explore one of the biggest blocks that stops business owners from selling confidently- the fear of being “salesy.”

You'll hear me challenge the idea that selling is pushy, awkward, or something to avoid, and help you reframe selling as a powerful and necessary part of running a business.

If you have a business, it's your job to sell unapologetically and powerfully. Fear of being sales-ey makes that impossible.

That 'sales-ey' fear isn't about the action itself. You get to be in charge of it by how you feel.

I share a specific example of amazing selling I've recently encountered and walk you through this powerful example of how direct selling can feel generous, human and deeply compelling when it comes from genuine connection.

You'll also have a process to see how you define being 'sales-ey' and see where it might be stopping you from growing your business the way you want.

I also walk you through a four part process to create bigger results in your business and sell more confidently.

You'll learn the foundational steps to create ongoing momentum and show up confidently to grow your business - wherever you choose to do it.

The episode is a strong reminder that selling confidently doesn't mean you have to be perfect or polished. You can feel awkward and nervous and still show up. Share this with a business friend who needs it, and come back to it anytime you have a sales wobble!

To explore this work further, book a free consultation and we'll outline the exact steps you'll take to create totally different results in your business, starting right now. https://calendly.com/mrg_coaching/consultation

    • Thoughts that help you sell

In this episode I break down the ways that thoughts can show up in your decisions, your actions and your results and how to get a handle on them in business.

I walk through different examples in my own business, where I made decisions from thoughts that didn't help me, and the results of those. And share some powerful new beliefs that you can practice on purpose as you go about marketing and selling your services.

If you're coming up against challenges or feeling stuck in business, or wondering where your next growth area will be, come back to this episode. You'll have a practice for finding new thoughts that help you powerfully show up and create bigger impact with your audience.

    • Marketing that creates emotions

In this episode, you'll hear fresh insights from the “Grow Your Aligned Business” training, breaking down why marketing often feels so complicate and how to simplify it.

You'll hear the real reason messaging doesn’t land with your best clients and understand that it’s not about sounding polished or clear but about creating emotional connection.

I walk you through a practical framework for effective marketing, focusing on three core elements:

      Knowing your ideal client

Compelling messaging that speaks to them

Choosing the way you can deliver that message (that's easiest for you)

You'll learn the different ways of playing around with your message until something truly resonates with your best client.

You'll see how you can create “grippy” content that moves people into action.

This episode is a mindset and strategy reset for you if you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed with marketing. When your message connects emotionally, everything feels simpler.

    • Episode 11 - Why you can't 'outwork' misalignment

What is misalignment in business? How does it show up? How does it feel when it's there?

In this episode I dive into my personal definition of alignment and misalignment, why it matters and how to look for it. You'll learn

      - how alignment is actually a sliding scale, not an 'either/or' situation

      - how to know if you're working from misalignment

-how to check in with yourself and tell the difference between whether something is 'for you' or just feels uncomfortable in the moment

-what alignment feels like when you have it and how it powers your marketing

      - Powerful questions to guide you whenever you're having doubts

You'll leave with a framework to use and a way to filter decisions and opportunities in your business. This takes out the guesswork and allows you to move freely. You'll also know why your marketing and messaging feels harder than it should right now, and have a way to come back into what you really want to share with the world.

If you'd love more of this, sign up for the free, 3-day training on April 21, April 22 and April 23. I'm putting on a series to help you Grow your Aligned Business and we're going to cover this and so much more. Register here.
