Something happened with us recently.

It was a regular night.  We were in bed hanging out like usual and then we just started talking about our story.  We went back years to even before we met.  We walked through how we got together and even dug into some of the harder parts of our story.

It was incredible.  Why?  Because it showed us how far we have come.  How much we have walked through, overcome and experienced in our marriage so far.  The more we talked the more proud we were because it felt like in that moment we were truly owning our story.

Every couple has a story.  Yes, they are all different and some have been harder journeys than others but simply put, there is power in your story. 

In this episode you will hear why it is important for you to spend time owning your own story.  Even as an individual to realize where you have come from to get to this point you are at today.  We don't spend nearly enough time appreciating all that we have experienced to be where we are today with our spouse.  Something changes when you own your story.
