Owoje Has A Podcast

I tell you how one emergency in Nigeria left me broke-ish, ‘free’ healthcare, and the highlight of my year.

I don’t feel very well, but I have updates about life and Christmas prep, et al.

My light came back after 44 days, I’m a wedding guest this weekend, and I’m doing ‘December’ in Lagos.

All I’ll say: plant a garden.

In this episode I talk about how excited I am for my Lagos trip, and how the government almost forced a pastry maker out of me.

Poverty increases daily in Nigeria, and desperation with it.

I talk about getting an email that’s been due for eight years, among other things.

I talk about my frustrations as a Nigerian living in Nigeria, who may finally lean in to the ‘japa’ temptation.

My husband and I talk about love languages, a blown transformer, and “God said”.

My toxic trait is thinking I can make perfect puff puff without practice (I failed). I have a trade fair to attend this weekend, plus I’m hosting guests.
