We all know not everything is going to be smooth sailing all the time, but there is no reason for all these work environments to be so toxic, while trying to barely pay you. Stuff’s bonkers; it’s not a constant horror show. It really isn’t. But, you’ll never know that until you’re actually in somewhere and see that it’s not. Majority of these places advertise the job in a very attractive way, then you get in there and are hit with “casting couch for a reality show” energy.

Letting someone go when you didn’t want to. Especially when they meant so much to you.

Unlearning a behavior you subconsciously developed to survive a crap situation.. takes time, but it can be done. You’re going to be fine.

It’s not that you don’t want to do the “thing”. You literally can’t, and thankfully there are better tools available to help us with our day-to-day, and to do the damn thing.

Mel Robbins is to thank for the 54321 method. Stumbled upon that years ago, and it has helped me immensely.

Jobs in general can be stressful, but you shouldn’t be stressed out on your days off.

Even after becoming an adult, we all still have a touch of immaturity.

We all need a little reminder from time to time. No more crumbs. Period.

Always getting flaked on, or always the one initiating conversation are also great examples of why people will withdraw.


P.s.- repeatedly being shown you don’t matter, from a young age, is exactly how a narcissist is born.

P.s.s- and no (about the disorder matter) I don’t want to hear anything about “they’re just not well informed and are ignorant to the subject”. Balderdash. That person knows how to listen, and they can read up on it. They’re just an obtuse jackass.

I still say don’t lose hope. Your tribe is out there.

Life can be some pretty tough cheese. But, please don’t loose hope. It’s not you against the World. Your tribe is out there. Just keep taking care of you, and you will eventually find each other 🖤.

P.s.- unless, and this is a completely serious statement I’m making, someone can’t read, or they lack certain motor skills, there is absolutely no reason for them to be ignorant to a person’s disability, and I am dead on that hill 😁.
