George is a 22-year-old Software Engineer, University Innovation Fellow at Stanford University, CEO, Motivational Speaker, and Business Consultant.
At 16, George started GHTech Inc. to help Black and Brown students gain entry into technology as innovators, not just consumers.
George has built various online networks throughout his career including; a platform that connects Black and Brown students across the United States, teaching computer science and design thinking workshops in South Africa and London, and creating an app that combats police brutality. George combats systemic oppression within technology development, to help marginalized communities of color use technology as an alternative tool for transformative education.
George’s recent projects include a social networking app for California-based non-profit Kingmakers of Oakland, appearing in the documentary, Use of Force: The policing of Black America, creating the (in)Visible Designers series at Stanford University’s d.school and writing for the University of Oxford’s, The Oxford Blue.
