A Change.org petition demands the removal of a billboard in Harrison advertising a White Nationalist internet broadcast. The hate billboard is one of a half dozen erected, then taken down over the past decade. The Harrison Community Task Force on Race Relations , which initiated the petition, is working to repair Harrison's racist history, tracing back to an early 20th century racial cleansing .

From the University of Arkansas in Monticello, Governor Asa Hutchinson reported the state added another 703 positive COVID-19 cases during the last 24-hour monitoring period, bringing the state's cumulative case total to 51,114. Hundreds of rapid antigen test devices and sampling kits to detect acute COVID-19, which yields results within a half hour or less, are being distributed to county public health clinics, to help ease coronavirus testing throughput congestion in Arkansas. The Downtown Springdale Outdoor Dining District opens to the public today. The city council approved an ordinance establishing the new entertainment district by a vote of 5-3 at last night’s meeting. The approved ordinance permits alcoholic beverages to be carried outside of participating businesses and be consumed within the downtown district between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily so long as the beverage is contained in a designated cup.
