The show centers on Joe Exotic, the former owner of a roadside zoo in Oklahoma, who is currently in federal prison for trying to hire a hit man to kill Carole Baskin, the founder and CEO of a big cat sanctuary in Florida. In his briefing Wednesday, the governor expressed the need for more ventilators in Arkansas as the number of hospitalizations and deaths due to COVID-19 continues to climb. He also says the state, Walmart and Quest Laboratories are collaborating on a drive-thru testing site for healthcare professionals on the frontlines of the pandemic. According to the Arkansas Department of Health , if you've been diagnosed with COVID-19 you should wait until seven days after the onset of the illness and be fever free for at least three days before returning to work. If you've been exposed to someone with the virus, you should self-quarantine for 14 days.

United Way of Northwest Arkansas and Hark are teaming up to turn the United Way's 2-1-1 service into a direct line to help for people in need during the pandemic. A call to the service could lead to help from The Catalyist Fund created by the Walton Family Foundation, Hark or Hark's parent organization, the Endeavor Foundation.

Several weeks ago, Jamie Horning began to paint messages of hope on a narrow side street in front of her home on North Fallin Avenue in Fayetteville, to countervail growing alarm due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Intermittent rains have washed away several of her brightly colored messages but when the sun emerges she simply paints fresh ones, for all who walk or cycle by.

The KUAF spring fundraiser is missing its in-person volunteers, the phone calls and the restaurant participation, but listeners, who are able, are contributing. Leigh Wood, KUAF's general manager, explains.

The Midtown Trail Corridor is one of the transportation improvement projects identified in the Fayetteville Mobility Plan. Improvements planned for this east-west connection will facilitate safe pedestrian and bicycle transportation from Porter Road to College Avenue through street improvements, on-street bikeways, and separated bicycle and pedestrian facilities. On Tuesday, during his daily coronavirus response briefing, Governor Asa Hutchinson said the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state is lower than models projected, but Dr. Nate Smith with the Arkansas Department of Health added there still isn't as much testing as officials would like. The governor also said he was concerned about reports of crowding at the Buffalo National River and some state parks and announced his administration is looking at ways to curtail out-of-state visitors
