Walmart announced this month that it will expand use of robots in its stores. Company officials say it is part of a move to have associates interact more with customers rather than doing routine tasks like stocking shelves and cleaning floors. We visit one of the stores to see the autonomous machines that some critics say will eventually replace workers.

Laila Ali is a former world-champion boxer who retired with a 24-0 record. She was in northwest Arkansas this week to promote a new line of cleaning products. We caught up with Ali to talk about her career in and out of the ring.

James Hal Cone, born in Fordyce, Ark. in 1938, grew up in Bearden and earned a Master's of Divinity from Garrett Theological Seminary as well as a Master's and Ph.D. from Northwestern University. He developed the concept of Black Liberation Theology, which is defined as a theological identity that was accountable to the life, history, and culture of African-American people. He also wrote Black Theology and Black Power in 1969 as well as other critical texts. This is his story.

A poetry crawl , featuring the works of the late Arkansas poet C.D. Wright, will take place April 20 starting at noon at Fayetteville Public Library. The CDC has announced 555 cases of measles have been confirmed in 20 states. This is the second-greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since the disease was eliminated in 2000.
