It's been a couple of years since we last checked in with The Time Burners. Since then, the husband and wife rockabilly duo of Travis and Becky Koester have relocated to northwest Arkansas from Nebraska. They recently stopped by to talk about what they've been up to and to play a few songs.

Rhae Lynn Barnes, a professor of history at Princeton University, was recently on the University of Arkansas campus to discuss the history of blackface. She has explored the topic in her book Darkology: The Hidden History of Amateur Blackface Minstrelsy and the Making of Modern America, 1860-1970.

The University of Arkansas has tripled its economic impact on the state in the last decade. That's according to a report released Wednesday by the university. The report was compiled by the Center for Business and Economic Research at the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

The Arkansas Department of Health announced it has identified three confirmed cases and one suspected case of mumps on the University of Arkansas campus. Officials are those who have come into contact with the confirmed cases as well as those with an MMR vaccine exemption to seek vaccination.

Tyson Foods is donating 110,000 pounds of protein to the NWA Food Bank as part of its Miles that Matter program. The Springdale-based company has donated 9 million pounds, making it the largest protein donor to the food bank.

The state's Safe Haven Law has been amended by the state legislature to include fire stations as safe havens. The law also allows the use of "baby boxes," secure hatches installed on the facades of first responder facilities for distressed mothers to anonymously and safely relinquish newborns.
