At the Bentonville Film Festival, audiences have the chance to watch a mix of old and new movies. One of those newer movies, Rust Creek , is having its world premiere tonight in northwest Arkansas. Earlier this week, we spoke with director Jen McGowan about this project and the evolution of her career.

As Fayetteville's population grows every year, local history buffs want to ensure historic neighborhoods are recognized and protected from what they say is encroaching development. Fayetteville resident Donna Stjerna Mulhollan is descended from the Sami , an intact northern European tribe. During the past two years, the Ozarks folk musician has interpreted her indigenous heritage in song and art, discreetly performing the arrangements with her husband Kelly Mulhollan at mostly private gatherings.
