Sixty artists residing in Benton, Washington, Carroll, Sebastian and Crawford counties over the next three years will be chosen to participate in Artists 360 . The program is administered by the Mid-America Arts Alliance, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., and it is funded by the Walton Family Foundation. Experience Fayetteville and the Clinton House Museum have become the first two entities in the state to join the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association . Founded in 1983, the IGLTA is a network of LGBTQ-welcoming tourism businesses and its members include organizations in more than 75 countries.

Sunday night, a benefit concert will celebrate the music of Joseph Israel. Joseph, who grew up in Fayetteville, died in March. We talk to his sister Sarah Fennel Buchanan, longtime musical collaborator Rochelle Bradshaw and lifelong friend Hari Newmark about the benefit and Joseph's music. Doors open at 6 p.m. Sunday at George's Majestic Lounge, and suggested minimum donation is ten dollars. Proceeds will go to Joseph's family.
