A new music festival is coming to northwest Arkansas in April. This morning, the Arkansas Supreme Court overturned a lower court's ruling that upheld the voter-approved city law, which prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. The state's highest court ruled that the city law was in conflict with a state law that prohibits cities from enacting protections not already covered by state law.

The Steele Center Office Suites building in Springdale is being transformed into a resource for people who used to be incarcerated. Various agencies like Goodwill will provide services for ex-prisoners in the front half of the building. The back portion will serve as a transitional living facility for men.
