Today on the 5: I watched a film by Mario Bava called A Bay Of Blood from 1971 (You'll note I get the year wrong when I talk about it), considered one of the bloodiest in the director's collection. The movie was 95% a soap opera with murder, but with a surprising kicker that makes it stand out.

Today on the 5: After a while in development, there has been some interesting news on the remake of Big Trouble In Little China: It's no longer a remake! This one change has gotten me FAR more curious about the film than I was before.

Today on the 5: I finally got around to watching a movie I'd had on my radar for a while: Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! I went into this movie dreading it would be essentially a glorified skin flick. What I found instead was a really focused and stylistic movie.

Today on the 5: I recently went back and watched Gremlins 2 after watching the first movie, with the idea to do a comparison with the original film. The sequel is a rare movie is that I feel improves on the sequel on just about every way.
