Today on the 5: Aliens: Colonial Marines has certainly taken a barrage of ire from gaming critics, hasn't it? The irony is, that overwhelming flood of hatred made me want to see how bad it truly was myself. Turns out, not that bad.

Today on the 5: I've finished watching the entire first season of House Of Cards on Netflix. With only a few exceptions, I have been floored by the quality level. In particular, the characters that Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright play are some of the most well written I've seen in a while.

Today on the 5: As I near the point in The X-Files where the series had a break to allow for the first film, I'm wondering whether I should just stop at the movie, or continue on with a series that a lot of people felt ran out of steam after.
