Today on the 5: 2020's Jiu Jitsu has seemed to be a somewhat loony movie from the outset, from casting a range of martial arts pros to including Nic Cage as a swordsman. It's an effective hook, because it got me to shell out $7 to watch it. Was it worth it?

Today on the 5: For the month of October, I read The Science Of Women In Horror by authors Meg Hafdahl and Kelly Florence. It turned out to be a very interesting and entertaining book!

Today on the 5: I watched the 1987 film Mankillers, which you might easily think is a female riff on The Dirty Dozen. Once you get just a small way into the movie, though, you'll find that it's a badly written imitation at best.

Today on the 5: Because I love all things Two-Face, I watched the DC animated movie Batman vs Two-Face. I was prepared to be let down by it, but I was very happy to find that it kept me interested and entertained the whole way through!
