Today on the 5: On Lando's recommendation, I watched a fairly recent entry in the B movie action pantheon called Showdown In Manila. While it is a movie that breaks zero new ground, I have to admit it left me wanting more.

Today on the 5: In the fallout from the massive Twitter hack, security holes in the platform are making news. While it's certainly not excusable, I'm not sure how Twitter is any different than most other companies.

Today on the 5: As the United States struggles with racial issues and how to address them, one aspect that is being looked at is language. This will be an interesting process to observe.

Today on the 5: My wife and I were looking for a fairly lightweight co-op video game to play, something is We wanted something similar to Animal Crossing. We started playing Stardew Valley, and it's exactly what we were aiming for.

Today on the 5: I continued my Cynthia Rothrock movie parade with 1994's Guardian Angel. It is a remarkable example of storytelling outside of what most people would call a cohesive narrative.

Today on the 5: As expected, the announcement of Apple Silicon has spawned many opinions that Apple is going to leave the rest of the computing world in the dust. While Apple hardware will no doubt improve, will it really make a difference for anyone outside the ecosystem?
