Today on the 5: As part of my constant viewership of older movies of all types, I watched an action movie from 1986 called Scorpion. It's a perfectly watchable movie that is remarkable in that it's assembled from such strange parts.

Today on the 5: After hearing about the cyberpunk novel Hardwired for years and years, I finally got around to reading the book. I thought that it might come off as an imitator of books like Neuromancer and Snow Crash, but I was happy to find that it had a very unique identity.

Today on the 5: One of the many films in my new collections is a 1989 action film called Laser Mission. It's a perfectly enjoyable and disposable action film that you can laugh at while being entertained.

Today on the 5: Without having a commute to worry about thanks to forced telecommuting, I've had more time than usual to watch movies. This allowed me to watch Hellcat's Revenge, a biker revenge film by Len Kabasinski.
