Today on the 5: After giving up on the Mildew movie, I watched another low budget indie film called Cosmos. While it has some serious flaws, it's also does a lot of things very well.

Today on the 5: I started to watch a "comedy" horror movie called The Mildew From Planet Xonader. The word comedy is used very loosely, and I don't have to worry about spoilers because I only made it 20 minutes into the film. 

Today on the 5: Google is launching Stadia this week. The streaming game service is yet another Google property that seems like a diversion that the company will tire of quickly.

Today on the 5: Marvel and Disney are laying out the larger plans for the MCU, and that future appears to be increasingly interconnected. I wonder if that approach to the universe will introduce some storytelling problems down the road.

Today on the 5: I picked up the new Hideo Kojima game Death Stranding on release, and I've got a good chunk of time into it now. While I'm far from done with the game, I already can say for certain that I love it and I can understand why many other people will hate it.

Today on the 5: Apple recently announced a $2.5 billion donation try to help solve the homeless crisis in California. The announcement was met with harsh criticism from several directions, and while the underlying facts of those complaints may be valid, I wonder if the delivery mechanism does more harm then good.

Today on the 5: I watched the sequel to the unique Brazilian horror film At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. The second movie is called This Night I Will Possess Your Corpse, and it is one of the best sequels I think I'ver seen.
