Today on the 5: I watched another recommendation from Len Kabasinki, a B level action movie called Hired To Kill. I started this one with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised how much better it is than it should be.

Today on the 5: I watched another entry in the Cynthia Rothrock pantheon of films, Sworn To Justice. This one feels like a far cartoonier version of Righting Wrongs. That makes it both lighter and less memorable overall.

Today on the 5: Speaking of YouTube, how is it that a service that has been around for this long and would appear to be successful for Google suck this much? No kidding, it is one of the worst platforms I've ever used.

Today on the 5: YouTube TV fans are not very happy with the newly announced piece increases to the service. While I understand that anger, I'm not sure why people ever believed it would be any other way.

Today on the 5: The United States is certainly having a rough time in the spotlight right now, and it shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. Issues that it's been possible to ignore up until now have hit a point where it's impossible to pretend everything is fine. NOTE: Go watch this episode of the Jimquisition, its a tough watch but a worthwhile one.

Today on the 5: As the pandemic continues and theater openings are up in the air, movies keep changing and pushing back release dates. I don't understand why studios even bother with these constantly moving dates.

Today on the 5: I watched a movie recently that has solidly mediocre ratings all over the place. The movie is The Beyond, and I can understand why people didn't love it.

Today on the 5: As expected, the WWDC announcements around iOS have drawn a flood of mockery from Android fans painting the new features as copies of existing Android features. Newsflash folks, that's what Apple does!
