Today on the 5: During our trip last week, I sat down and finally read the complete Batman: Knightfall storyline. I had read pieces before, and knew the basic story, but reading the whole run was pretty enjoyable.

Today on the 5: On the flight to New York last week, I decided to revisit Prometheus and see if it held up any better freed from the hype and Alien comparisons. What I found was a near miss of a great movie.

Today on the 5: While my wife and I were back East last week, we took a day to head to New York Comic-Con. My impressions of the big event in NYC.

Today on the 5: Every month or so we seem to have new complaints about Facebook, or Apple, or Microsoft. At some point don't people lose the ability to criticize something if they use it despite knowing its flaws?

Today on the 5: Within the last few weeks there were major headlines talking about the shocking news of theft at TSA checkpoints. When did we start thinking that government employees stop being human? Are we really surprised that when people can steal that they do?

Today on the 5: Last week the first presidential debate was held. While pundits were quick to say with who was a 'winner' or 'loser', not many people bothered to question whether these debates are worth having at all.

Today on the 5: A lot of people like to put a label on the government as if it's an actual sentient thing. They call government good or evil. Aren't those traits that we usually use to describe people, not things?
