Today on the 5: Shortly after yesterday's Nintendo Direct centered around the Switch 2, the newly increased base pricing for the new Mario Kart game got a lot of people upset. Gang, I've got good news for you! You don't have to pay these new prices if you just don't buy the game!

Today on the 5: I saw news that Konami is releasing a new collection of the classic Gradius games, and looking into the game series led me to find that a series of OVAs were made loosely adapting the storylines of the games. The biggest shock is how good they are! 

Today on the 5: You may have noticed that a lot of people thank their chatbots or talk to them in a way that makes it clear they're appreciative of their results. There are some who do this thinking it might protect them from a possible future AI uprising, and I'm honestly baffled they think that would work.

Today on the 5: A few months back I talked about my hope that the open sourcing of the PebbleOS might lead to a return of that magnificent watch. Amazingly, it's happening and I can't wait!
