Today on the 5: Games that I love and have played often are usually the ones that have little left to surprise me with. That track record of familiarity made the revelation in a Deus Ex: Mankind Divided retrospective that Adam Jensen is likely a clone in that game all the more delightful.

Today on the 5: My other film review this week is 1989's Phantom Of The Mall: Eric's Revenge. It's a somewhat novel attempt to a modified slasher film, and while the story gets a bit clunky in places I generally enjoyed it.

Today on the 5: Without really planning on it, this week I watched a pair of low budget "horror" movies from 1989. First up is Alien From The Deep, an Italian film with an unremarkable plot but a well done creature reveal.

This week my wife Sam joins me as we talk about one thing: the magnificent show Schitt's Creek. Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Today on the 5: There have been some people who positioned Elon Musk as a socially awkward genius, and until recently some of those viewpoints were at least plausible. After his latest tweetstorm at a former worker, though, anyone who still thinks that is ignoring reality.

Today on the 5: It seems like we may never get to the end of the constantly worsening news around the LastPass security breach. At this point, it's hard to imagine there is any trust left in the company so I'm curious if anyone thinks it can possibly survive as it is today.

Today on the 5: Nightdive Studios recently released the Backer Beta of their upcoming System Shock Remake. I've been playing through it, and here are my impressions so far as someone who never played the original game.

Today on the 5: For years I've been complaining about how Google is a company without a direction and with an increasingly questionable future. How kind of Elon Musk to toss his hat in the ring as being more inompetent!

This week I'm on my own talking about Noiseman Sound Insect, and Dead Girls. Show music by HeartBeatHero and OGRE. Support the show!

Today on the 5: Friend of the show Len Kabasinski sent another fantastic film my way to review with him over on his YouTube channel. It's titled Double Edge, and it's a highly entertaining blend of 80s action supercop and ninja avenger all rolled into one!
