Khalid al Baih was watching the beginning of the Tunisian Revolution from the basement of a museum in Doha, the capital of Qatar. It was December 2010, and the Sudanese cartoonist was supposed to leave his workplace, yet he couldn’t take his eyes off the screen. Inspired by the demonstrations, Al Baih drew the flags of five North African nations on his fingers. The thumb was Libya, the pinky finger Algeria, the index finger Egypt, the ring finger Sudan and the middle finger Tunisia.
